Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Kiwi Social Club handles on kiwisocialclub.org, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. We handle personal information in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and its information privacy principles.

Playing the games

The games run entirely in your browser. There are no accounts, no sign-ups, no scores sent to us and nothing to buy. You can play every game without telling us anything.

Writing to us

If you use the contact form, it asks for your name, email address, what the message is about, which browser you use and the message itself. The form checks that these look right and confirms that it went through. We do not keep what you send on the server, we do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not pass it to anyone.

What the server records

Like any website, our hosting provider sees your IP address and the time of each request as a normal part of serving pages. We do not use that to identify you, and we run no analytics, advertising trackers or social media pixels.

Cookies

One cookie, which keeps the contact form's security check working and remembers that you closed the cookie notice. The Cookie Policy describes it in full.

Your rights

Under the Privacy Act you may ask what personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. Write to kiaora@kiwisocialclub.org and we will respond within 20 working days. If you are not satisfied with the answer, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.

Age

The games imitate casino formats, so the site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

When this policy changes we update the date at the top of the page and describe what changed here.
